Marion Ross was born on October 25, 1928 in Watertown, Minnesota. Marion spent her early years in
Waconia and when she was eight years old her family moved to Albert Lea. Following her sophomore
year in high school, Marion came to Minneapolis to work as an au pair so that she could attend a drama
course at MacPhail Center for Music. She attended Southwest High School in Minneapolis for her junior
year and then her family moved to San Diego, California. Marion Ross is best known for her role as
Marion Cunningham on HAPPY DAYS for which she was nominated for two Emmy awards, however
her 60 year career covers the Broadway stage as well as made for television films and motion pictures.
We will screen clips from Marion's work and listen to her stories about growing up in Minnesota and her
long career in the television and film industry.
For your chance to meet Marion Ross in person, we will be hosting a private reception prior to the
presentation.

Tippi Hedren was born on January 19, 1931 in New Ulm, Minnesota. Tippi was raised for six years in
Lafayette, Minnesota and at age thirteen she was chosen as a teen fashion model for Donaldson's
Department Store. Tippi attended West High School in Minneapolis until the family moved to California
in her junior year as her father needed a warmer climate for health reasons. From 1952 to 1960, Tippi
lived in New York and worked as a fashion model with the Eileen Ford agency. Her break came in 1961
when Alfred Hitchcock saw her in an advertisement on the Today Show and cast her in the starring role
of his psychological thriller THE BIRDS. She also starred in Hitchcock's next film MARNIE opposite
Sean Connery. Tippi is the mother of actress Melanie Griffith and is also the founder of the Roar
Foundation which is a charitable cause for animals. The evening will consist with a presentation of Tippi
Hedren reminiscing about her growing up in Minnesota, her career and her involvement with the Roar
Foundation and Shambala Reserve.
For your chance to meet Tippi Hedren in person, we will be hosting a private dinner immediately following
the presentation and tickets must be purchased in advance. Seating limited to 80 persons.
8:00 - 10:30PM: Dinner at Tejas Restaurant downstairs in the Santa Fe Room.
Tickets: $80.00 per person
Price includes one ticket with reserved seating at the Edina Cinema presentation. A three course meal
will be served with wine at Tejas.

Loni Anderson was born on August 5th, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota. During her grade school days,
Loni lived in New Brighton and later moved to Shoreview and to attend Ramsey High School. She
was crowned Miss Roseville and was runner up in the Miss Minnesota contest of 1964. Loni went
on to study at the University of Minnesota and performed at The Friar's Dinner Theatre, the
Chanhassan Dinner Theatre and the Old Log Theatre. She eventually moved out to California and
her break came when she was cast as Jennifer on WKRP in Cincinnati which aired from 1978 to 1982.
Loni has gone on to star in many made for television films, feature films and guest appearances. She
was married to actor Burt Reynolds from 1988 to 1993 and most recently married Minnesota native
Bob Flick from The Brothers Four in a highly publicized wedding.
An Evening with Loni Anderson includes a very special dinner at the Saint Paul Hotel where friends
will get together and reminisce. We'll then present Loni with her own Minnesota Proud Walk of
Fame star.
6:30 - 9:00PM: A three course dinner will be served in the James J. Hill room
in the famous Saint Paul Hotel.
